"Seven Simple Things Connecticut Needs to Know about Early Childhood" is an 8-page publication being distributed statewide. On February 3rd you can find a copy inserted in the Hartford Courant, the New Haven Register and the Connecticut Post. The publication will also be available in 222 libraries across Connecticut. The tabloid's goal is to inform Connecticut residents about the importance of early childhood development and its social and economic implications.

Sponsored by the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, Connecticut Early Childhood Alliance, the Connecticut State Library, Connecticut State Medical Society, Connecticut Parents Plus/Conn PAT, Greater Bridgeport Area Foundation, Hartford Child Care Collaborative, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, New Alliance Bank, United Ways of Connecticut and the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund Discovery Initiative, this publication will reach hundreds of thousands of households across Connecticut. Legislators, school officials, state and local policymakers will also receive copies.
