Community Spotlight: Danbury Creates a Page on the Discovery Website to Promote its Community Planning Process

Danbury Children First is using a tab on its community page to promote The Danbury 3Rs Strategic Planning process.  Like other communities in the state, Danbury received funding in January 2008 from the State Department of Education and the Memorial Fund to garner community support and participation in the creation of an early childhood plan for the city.  To learn more how the work is unfolding in Danbury, visit the "Capacity Building" section of the Danbury page on the Discovery website at http://www.discovery.wcgmf.org/community_page_1.php?community_id=1006

How is your community sharing information about your planning process?  Please share your ideas with your Discovery colleagues using the Discovery listserv.  Posting a message to the listserv is simple!  Just send your e-mail message to discovery-wcgmf.org@lists.wcgmf.org

Also, did you know that you can add custom tabs to your community page, as well as upload your logo or photos and links to partner organizations? Please take a moment to look at your community page and think about what resources you might want to add or how you might want to customize your page. Contact Donna Studdiford to submit materials or if you have any questions.
