Connecticut Health Care Rally in Hartford

Thousands of citizens from across the state gathered Bushnell Park in Hartford on Saturday, May 5 to support the call for universal health care in Connecticut. The rally, sponsored by Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut, drew a diverse crowd

Ann Pratt, executive director of Connecticut Parent Power, served as MC, reminding people that they had the power of their voices and their votes to make universal health care happen. The crowd heard from business people, members of the clergy, the President of Universal Health Care Foundation and others about the need for a change in Connecticut’s health care system.
